Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Testing / QA Intern to assist in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. The intern will work closely with developers and project teams to identify bugs, verify functionality, and improve the overall user experience of web and mobile applications.
This internship provides hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance processes, test case creation, bug reporting, and software development life cycle (SDLC) practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in testing web applications, mobile applications, and software products.
- Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
- Collaborate with developers to understand application requirements.
- Prepare testing reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Participate in requirement analysis and quality review meetings.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards and user expectations.
- Support automation testing activities when required.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed:
- B.Tech
- BCA
- MCA
- M.Tech
- B.Sc (Computer Science)
- Any IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to document issues clearly and accurately.
- Willingness to learn testing tools and methodologies.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Manual Testing techniques.
- Familiarity with Bug Tracking Tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Trello.
- Understanding of Test Case Design.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to Automation Testing tools is an added advantage.
